![]() ![]() In ETS, I can't read speed limit signs until I'm just about to pass them. I personally try to avoid SteamVR wherever possible (I have a Rift S), so I use OTT to change it.Īlthough, the way you're describing the issue, it's possible that's just the way the game is. Double check that the way you're changing supersampling and the way you're launching the game match up. I don't have any experience with the debug tool but I'd imagine it would only affect -oculus as well. Supersampling can be changed in-game (although it's not the best way to do it), using Oculus Tray Tool (when launching the game with -oculus) or using Steam's VR settings (when launching the game with -openvr). For example, last night I launched the debug tool, put as to 1.75, left the tool open, launched the game in VR, and I see no difference at all to the image quality.Īm I overlooking something? Would anyone be willing to help me troubleshoot this?įYI I am connecting to the PC via the link software and a USB 2.0 wired connection. ![]() I’ve read that it can be done with the OTT, Oculus Debug Tool, or with SteamVR. To be clear, I’m not really sure on HOW to actually change supersampling. I’ve tried to use supersampling to sharpen things up, but no matter what I do, I don’t see any difference in the picture quality. For example, it says we should change some lines in the config file, but whenever I start the game it seems to overwrite the lines I’ve added in the config. ![]() I’ve tried following the guide linked here but it seems dated and doesn’t work for me. I can’t read speed limit signs or street signs until I’m practically on top of them. I can’t read out any of the dials or knobs in the cab without leaning significantly forward. But anything beyond that is a blurry mess. The inside of my cab looks great and anything within about 50 yards of my truck looks great as well. I can see tremendous potential in playing the game this way, but I can’t get past the blurriness of the image. I’ve been able to launch the game and get it running in VR. ![]()
